Help Yourself

Street art, fashion, museums, live music, and architecture are a few of my favorite things and London thrives in all those categories. As ridiculously homesick as I am, I find myself falling in love with this place each time I step outside. We've decided that every Sunday, we would explore a market in different parts of the city. This Sunday we chose Camden Market. When we arrived, we went through a borough of vendors selling things from shoes to clothes to souvenirs. It all was pretty similar to Santee Alley and the Fashion District in Los Angeles. The market as a whole is humongous. There are scattered sections of global food vendors and crafty sellers. It was all really enticing. While I was still a bit full, Jackie and Jill bought calzones and then we all couldn't resist a donut. Damn, Americans haha. We explored a bit of the town and headed home early. Tomorrow is my first day of school and I'm pretty nervous to navigate through the tube by myself and just scared for my classes overall. I keep forgetting that I'm here for school...
